avoiding my own reading, guess what i found here! Hoffstede! and culture as the software of mind. i am treating this as a cosmic signal to get back to my reading (and denial always helps forget all the other interesting books). I bookmarked the page for post-thesis reference (aka motivation to finish, so i have time to read everything else).

...well Dr D, I am now 49.98 Euros poorer, and hopefully soon to be wiser too. Great reading list, found things I have read, and some I haven't and looked interesting (and thus ordered). I read Gladwell's "Blink" a few days ago, on the plane from Pdx to Amsterdam, and pondered 'verbal overshadowing' and how it connects to the way I try to remember my dreams! And much more too, a good read, for a long flight (finished it as we are approaching the European continent). Thanks for the recommendations.
